First Day of School
My grandson started kindergarten this year! We are so proud of him! You would never know this little boy started out just weighing over 3lbs! Here he is standing by his locker.
Projects On My LIst
The following pictures are some projects I would like to attempt. I love paper crafting!
The first one is for my dog-lover friends pets. I think I'll put some pet treats in for them for Halloween or Christmas. I just need to put a witch's hat or santa hat on this cute little triangle box.
This next card is so cute. I just ordered this stamp set and want t give this card a try. I don't know of anyone with an owwie, so I'll just have to keep it handy if the situation occurs. I just love the way the person made the band-aid!

Oh how I've missed getting my pictures up on this blog and keeping it current, but alas I have not had the time. I know, I know....familiar excuse. Some day I hope to blog every day! That would be around retirement....which is a long way off!
One thing I have been busy doing is blog surfing! I really enjoy checking out what other people are crafting and cooking/baking.
I would love to make this chandalier! It's so me. I love canning jars and never thought to use them as a light.
Next are the little banana bites I'd like to make for my grandson's "treat" day. They look super easy and I think kids will love them!

Summer Fun
I have been slacking off on keeping up with this blog! We have had a stressful couple of months and have received good news but I can not share as it is very personal.
My apologies to you if you have visited and have not seen anything new. I'll change that now!
Our grandson is old enough now to sit in the kayak in his own seat and he wants to be able to paddle. My hubby took him out to see if he could and of course....he's a natural. He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the water and anything to do with it.

These pictures were taken on Lake Fanny Hoe (our favorite place). We do a lot of camping at the state campground there and hope to one day own a small piece of land. Big enough to put just a little camp on it or big enough to park the camper.
My apologies to you if you have visited and have not seen anything new. I'll change that now!

We are lucky to be able to take our grandson so often with us. Our daughter is getting older and prefers not to go camping with us, opting to stay in town to stay connected with friends. We do still make her come with us and she does enjoy it once she gets there and realizes it is fun--even without friends and her phone!

Staring Out The Window At Work
I have been watching, out my front window at work, a couple birds buildng a nest. They were bringing in the normal stuff for bird nest building, sticks, leaves, etc.
Over the weeks I kept busy at work and forgot about them until this week when I noticed they were bringing something different---worms!I knew the eggs had hatched and mom and dad were feeding their babies.
I went out to see if I could find the nest and I did, so I had to take a picture!
As I am typing, the mommy bird is on a branch in the tree waiting for the perfect time to swoop down and give her babies that luscious worm she has in her beak.
Glad I don't have to eat worms!!
