I saw this image and had to share it! It is so funny! Thankfully I am not in any trouble, nor do I forsee getting into any, but this sure is a cute picture. Isn't the saying the truth?!

Wolerines

We have a son, Jeff, that plays for The Wolverines. It is a men's league and they do quite a bit of traveling. Here is the team with the team mascot (?) pasty-man and Santa. They are such a great group of guys. We haven't got out much to watch them this year, but we'll get to more games.

Try Again!

My grandson's first attempt at skating did not go well. He didn't want to skate at all and cried when the skates went on. I left work early to go and watch and try to get some pictures, but when I got there he was in a full sobbing mode. I tried to talk him into trying to skate but he was having nothing to do with it. So, I asked him if he would like to watch and see what the kids were doing out there. He was up for that and we stayed and watched for about 15 minutes.
Today we are going to try it again. We've been talking to him about it all week and he seems to want to try. I'm hoping that my Mom and Dad will get pictures because I can't leave work today. If they are successful in getting him on the ice and getting a picture or two, I will definitely share.

Calumet Girls Varsity Basketball Game Tonight

CHS has a basketball game vs West Iron County tonight. I'm hoping the girls keep their spirits up as their last game was pretty much a blow-out.
They are all great kids and very athletic. I know they will do good.

And So The Winter Season Begins

I know we are darn lucky not to get hurricanes, tornados and earthquakes but the snow season just lasts way too long!!

New Craft Project

Hoping to make this cute little project in the next couple of weeks. Have to gather the supplies together and get to painting the pieces/parts.

It feels like it's missing something.....I think I will add one more block to the top....a top hat of course.
