Sunday Drive

We took a drive this past Sunday to check out the ice and to see if we could spot any eagles or deer.
The ice just looks so cool out there!
The hubby is chugging thru the snow to see if he can spot any coyote tracks. The predator hunt is coming up!
More ice! We have lots of it here.
The above picture is of a hole in the ice that was spraying water but I wasn't fast enough with the shutter to catch the spray! It was pretty.
A lonely picnic table at the park.
Hubby trudging through more snow. Wish we would have brought our snowshoes. I would have liked to have gotten closer to the water.
We did spot one eagle but it flew away before I could take a picture of it. Didn't see any deer, just tracks and rubs.

Homemade Valentine Gift

I made these gifts for my grandson's pre-school teacher. In the cellophane bage is a cute pair of heart earrings. The two beverage containers have hot cocoa in one and marshmellos in the other.
Here is a close up of the earrings.
And here is a close up of the beverage holder.
Nathan has his valentine party this week, so we well be making cupcakes to bring to his friends. He also has some valentines that he will be filling out on his own. He has been practicing writing his name and is getting pretty good.

Girls Varsity Basketball

Calumet played a game against Lake Linden last night. It was a really good game and went into overtime. The girls pulled it out and won by ONE point.
The following are pictures of the game. ENJOY!
