Dyeing Easter Eggs

It's boring waiting for those eggs to take the dye as you can tell by the look on Nathan's face.
Nathan helped put the dye in the cups (counting drops is a good job for a five year old)
We had so much fun together dyeing eggs. He loves putting the eggs in the cups, checking them and taking them out.
I got a picture of him with the eggs that he already dyed. What a cutie!

I snapped this photo when he decided that he loved this red egg! This was going to be Grandpa's egg.

Nathan is making another egg for Grandpa. He is using a crayon to write G-pa's name so he knows it's his.
This guy loves his Grandpa so much---makes me a bit jealous--but in a good way:)
Taking his time making Grandpa's egg.
Using the bunny spoon to get the egg out of the cup.
I've always loved coloring eggs and it just so much more fun when you have a child to do it with.
I think we'll do some more egg dyeing this summer--just for giggles. We'll take them camping and they will be our special camping eggs.
Thank you Nathan for letting Grandma color eggs with you. I had a ton of fun.

Nathan and Marty

This is my grandson and his new pet, Marty. He was so excited to have his very own pet! At first he was a bit rough with Marty and Dad had to take him away for a bit, but once things were explained to him, Marty was reunited with his new owner.
He called our house and told us he got a bunny and asked if he could bring it over. My hubby and I were a little reluctant. We remembered the last small animal (Elvis-a teddy bear hamster) that our daughter had. But, of course, we said he could bring it over.
Marty is a very good bunny. He just sat around and let us all pet him and hold him.
He even let our dog, Daisy, sniff him. Daisy was very nervous when Marty was out of his cage.
Nathan loves Marty and is learning to be gentle with him.

Kisses for Marty.
We took Marty out quite a bit when he was here. Then it was time to bring Nathan and Marty back to Dad's house.
Nathan asked us if he could bring Marty back.
Of course. We're grandparents--and we love Nathan to the moon and back--and.....Marty will always, always live at Dad's house:)
